Over the last 2-3 years Weblogs or âBlogsâ as they are called have exploded in popularity .
Previously itâs been thought that âbloggingâ was just for kids or geeks. However, whilst this is still the case to a certain degree; blogs are starting to be recognised by businesses both big and small as a way to âconnect with their customersâ as a way to either enhance a brand, drive traffic to a website or simply to announce news .
So why should your business use a blog? After all if youâve already spent time and money developing your website, whatâs the point of spending even more time and money on developing and maintaining a blog.

Search engines adore web links. Of course, they adore some web links more than others. For example, a simple link exchange (reciprocal link) doesn’t have as much value to search engines and so as a result, doesn’t receive the same weighting as a non-reciprocal (one-way) link â the theory being that a one-way, in-bound link is a recommendation from a site owner to visit this linked site. The web link, itself, is like a vote to the quality of the site being linked into.
