Transfer Your Domain Away
If you’re looking to transfer your domain name away from the Keyclicks servers and/or registry to another hosting provider or registry, then we ask that you please make the request in writing either by post (snail mail) or by fax using 01274 869 881.
Both methods of request need to be made on company headed paper from the domain’s legal registrant i.e. the person or company that is listed in the WHOIS record for the domain (this may be different to the account holder for your company at Keyclicks so please be careful).
NB: We know this is a pain, but we need to be sure from a legal stance that the transfer request is a genuine one.
In your request we need the following information:
1. The name and address of the legal registrant for the domain being transferred away.
2. A contact email address.
3. The User Name of the Keyclicks hosting account it is currently mapped to.
4. The destination IPS TAG (UK domains only) for the new domain if applicable.
5. The destination name server names with their respective IP addresses (at least two name servers are required)
6. A signature from the legal registrant of the domain authorising the transfer.
Please note: once a transfer has been initiated, a domain may take up to 72 hours to move across to its new host. During this time your domain will not be visible on the Internet and emails associated with the domain may not function.
